The Maiden Voyage of the Questar 8/27/2022
Ellessar knew that the Questars had to travel on the seas as well as the land to meet all challenges. Quite recently 3 vessels flying under the flag of Gondor disappeared, the last one a warship sent to investigate. To assist the Questars, King Ellessar gave us a new ship designed with the Elves to be faster and more responsive than other ships in the fleet. Captained by Captain Azrubel and outfitted with the most experienced crew, she set sail with the Questars aboard to find out the source of the trouble. While sailing along the last known course of the warship, The Questar encountered a storm rising that gave way to dense fog. At the same time, Aldurienne's blade flashed blue which meant that undead were within 1 mile. The Captain, crew and Questars readied for battle. Despite their efforts, most of the crew and the Questars were surprised when they were rammed by a ship that was clearly not normal and neither were the crew. The undead soldiers were Black Numenoreans from another age. They fought well, but the Questars used a Scroll of Aura of Life to suck the vitality out of the undead sailors. After a hard fought battle, the Questares chased down and killed the Captain. They found in the treasure a map with unknown script. After research and scry, the Questars found out the script was Anunaic and it gave directions to a place out in the sea to the West. The Questars got the ship into port for reppoairs and set sail!
